The fluids are used in a broad range of industries including:

  • Automotive Glass — Fully synthetic automotive glass grinding fluids extend the life of diamond grinding wheels, enhance edge quality, and prevent foaming, hard settling, wheel loading, and excessive glass fines retention in the fluid. Also, special fluids are available for gravity settling, drag out, and centrifuge systems. A full line of flocculants and coagulants is also available to aid in the removal of microglass fines from nearly all types of recycling systems.
  • Decorative Glass & Mirror — These fluids exhibit high lubricity, low energy consumption, extended diamond wheel life and extremely high glass removal rates. They resist biological deterioration and provide high rates of glass fines settling. In most cases, when it is time to clean coolant tanks, a water hose is all that is needed if the tanks are maintained regularly. We also offer a full line of coagulants and flocculants to enhance and extend the overall life of coolant tanks. These materials enhance the settling rates of the glass fines and help control their density.
  • Ceramics & Quartz — Each coolant in this line has been formulated to provide functionality on both ceramic and quartz substrates. They also offer superior corrosion protection for equipment, low foaming, exceptionally high levels of lubricity for extended wheel/tool life, extremely low surface tension, and very low levels of sodium and potassium. These materials are formulated to be removed easily by conventional cleaning methods.
  • Precision Optics — Coolants for use in fabricating organic or inorganic optical materials. Each fluid is specifically formulated to provide low surface tension, low foaming, exceptional wetting for accurate part production and finish, and high levels of surface finish. Several levels of lubrication are available to match the required level of finish and exact material being fabricated.
  • Plastics, Composites & Fiberglass — These products feature excellent corrosion protection for metals, very low surface tension, and low foaming. They are also non-sticky and help keep wheels clean, free-running, and open from buildup. These fluids also provide superior lubrication that allows the diamond to cut faster and cleaner, thus providing a superior finish in less time.
  • Metalworking — These fluids are used for light-duty grinding to heavy machining. Also available are alkaline cleaners and water-based non-solvent corrosion protectors, as well as materials that greatly reducing the amount of oily hazardous wastes that must be dispose of, while also reducing the amount of suspended solids.
