Ferro offers a wide selection of inner electrode pastes suitable for many applications in multilayer components such as MLCC, ML-VDR, ML-piezoelectronics and ML-NTC chips. The wide range of AgPd ratios provides tailored products to meet the firing needs of various dielectric/ceramic combinations.
To avoid delamination, Ferro has carefully selected metal powders – in some cases combined with shrinkage adaptation additives such as barium titanate (BT) and zirconia – to provide an excellent shrinkage match with the dielectric/ceramic.
Users looking for C0G/NPO and piezo inner electrodes should consider products with added zirconia. BT-based ceramics could be metallized with non-doped inner electrode pastes, or pastes doped with BT or zirconia.
