Cermark materials consist of two varieties: a liquid (paste) form and a tape (label) material. Either material can be used in what we call the additive process to make a positive mark.

	Apply our material to a substrate. The liquid material can be sprayed, roll coated, screen printed, pad printed, or brushed onto the surface.	Apply a tape or label to the substrate.
	Drying time.
	Make the mark with the laser. The laser energy fuses the material to the substrate.	Interaction with the laser.
	Remove the excess material. Reveals a high contrast, permanent mark.	Finally index the tape or remove the label. Then remove the minimal excess material.
