Description
CORDOBOND Sealer is a three-component, high-strength repair material, consisting of resin, activator and reinforcing filler. When mixed together, a fast chemical reaction takes place to produce a tough, hard patch.

Physical Properties
CORDOBOND Sealer has excellent impact resistance and dimensional stability, abrasion and corrosion resistance, and is not affected by moderately high or sub-zero temperatures. CORDOBOND Sealer requires no external heat to cure. The material has excellent resistance to water, oil, gasoline, alcohol, acids, gases, and other contaminants.

Applications
CORDOBOND Sealer can be used in every phase of industry including marine, refineries, public utilities, farming and chemical processing.

When the reinforcing filler is added, a sticky paste is formed that seals weeping leaks and plugs holes up to approximately one inch in diameter. If pressed in from both sides of a hole, a rivet type plug is produced.

General Patching Conditions
CORDOBOND Sealer may be applied by trowel or putty knife.
Clean all surfaces thoroughly, removing all paint, grease, dirt, etc. The adhesion of a CORDOBOND Sealer repair depends upon the condition of the surface of the substrate with which it is in direct contact.

Do not mix resin and activator until actually ready to use. Resin container is slack filled to permit addition of activator and filler for mixing in the resin container.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Use rubber gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Follow the safety instructions given in data sheet entitled, "Hazards and Handling Precautions Bulletin for CORDOBOND Resin Systems."
