Ferro Dinnerware Systems offers decoration colors and 
auxilaries, precious metal preparations, brilliant dispersible glaze stains (InstantColor®), body stains, inclusion pigments, and frits and glazes for the dinnerware and the ceramic arts industries.
Color Stains
Our color stains are available in brilliant, pure, highly efficient intense colors, across the complete color spectrum. The dispersible InstantColor® stains guarantee flexible production, easy handling and intermixability. Our brand stands for innovative, high-quality, reliable products. Their extremely fine and uniform particles are ideal for modern screen printing applications and for roller printing.
Frits and Glazes
We offer a wide-range of ceramic frits and glazes for all applications. Under the brand name CerDeCoat®, a variety of transparent, opaque and colored glazes are combined. The dinnerware, cookware, and giftware industries can choose from customized unleaded glazes and glazes with low lead release, as well as a selection of high-quality, high-performance frits for in-house glaze manufacturing.
Where applicable, our glazes comply with today's detergent durability requirments. On going research into more durable coatings continues to ensure that our coatings offer the best available in-service characteristics for our customers.
Decoration Colors
Our CerDeColor® brand comprises an extensive choice of low-toxic metal release decoration colors (onglaze: Palette 70, Sunshine, and Azurico; inglaze: ImpressionPlus) as well as lead- and cadmium-free decoration colors (onglaze: SambaPlus and Fantasie; inglaze: SkyPlus; underglaze: Springtime II). One of our recent developments is a range of low-temperature organic colors for decals. For the decoration of glass tumblers or bottles we recommend using one of our proven collections of glass colors.
All of these color ranges have been produced under the most stringent manufacturing conditions to ensure that contamination from minor material impurities are minimized to a level that does not impact their ability to comply with current legislation on toxic metal release in the global market.
Precious Metal Preparation
The Ferro CerDecOr® precious metal preparations and lustres create high-quality decorations of great beauty and durability on porcelain, bone china, fine china, stoneware, earthenware, and glass. They are offered in a variety of color tones and surface finishes for both onglaze and inglaze firing conditions.
All of our precious metal preparations are designed to suit the latest trends in firing conditions, especially the move toward lower temperature and fast-firing cycles on fine and bone china and the use of high temperature, fast-firing conditions for porcelain dinnerware and giftware. Enhanced acid and alkali resistance, together with improved dishwasher durability and superior abrasion resistance, underscore our pursuit of leading- edge innovation and process development.
Decoration Media, Covercoats & Auxiliaries
We are one of the the major producers of oils and media for the decoration of ceramics with a long tradition of innovation and continuous product improvement. We offer water-, wax-, solvent-, and UV-based media to suit the principal application methods employed in the industry, together with a specialized range of screen printing media and covercoats for manufacturing both waterslide and heat-release decals. For decal printers, our media and covercoats are supplied in liquid form and a variety of thixotropic consistencies. The UV-curable CeDeCure line of media for waterslide decals represents the leading edge of our continuous drive for innovation in decal manufacturing processes. CerDeCure, as well as specialized solvent-based media, are designed to enable printers to make optimal use of our full range of unleaded decorative colors.
