Product Description
Synpro® Aluminum Stearate 404 Lubricant is characterized by a low melting point and high free fatty acid content, promoting its solubility in solvent systems. Because of these characteristics, Type 404 is often employed in such applications as crayons, drawing pencil leads and cosmetic sticks. In addition, because of its high free fatty acid content, Synpro® Aluminum Stearate 404 is useful in applications requiring an aluminum soap of low gelling power.
Synpro® Aluminum Stearate 404 meets the Food and Drug Administration's Code of Federal Regulations under Title 21, Parts 173.340, 175.105, 175.210, 175.300, 175.320, 176.170, 176.200, 177.2260,177.2800, 178.3910, 179.45 and 181.29.
