Product Description
Synpro® Magnesium Stearate 90 Lubricant is a high-performance lubricant and mold release agent used by the plastics industry. It is particularly recommended for use as a lubricant in ABS injection molding compounds.
Further uses include application as a dusting agent to prevent surface tackiness in rubber products, and as a flattening agent for paints, varnishes and lacquers.
The excellent surface covering ability of Synpro® Magnesium Stearate 90 allows it to be used to enhance the flow of hydroscopic dry powders by adding about 0.1 to 0.5 percent to the powder.
Synpro® Magnesium Stearate 90 is suitable for use in food packaging applications in accordance with FDA Code of Federal Regulations; Section 181.29, and other CFR Sections.
