Product Description
Therm-Chek® 5019 Stabilizer is a Zinc heat stabilizer/catalyst for use in PVC foams. It is formulated to provide excellent early color retention and foam cell structure. The product is recommended for use in PVC plastisol, injection molded, or extruded foams using exothermic blowing agents such as Azodicarbamide types.
Typical applications include footwear, seating cushions, marine accessories, and exercise mats.
Therm-Chek® 5019 provides excellent early color retention and foam cell structure.
As a catalyst, this product substantially reduces the temperature required to activate the blowing agent.
In plastisols, this product can be used alone or in combination with other Therm-Chek® heat stabilizers.
For injection molded applications, Therm-Chek® 5019 must be used in conjunction with other Therm-Chek® stabilizers. Suggestions include Therm-Chek® 120 LOHF and Therm-Chek® 144.
