Synpro® Aluminum Stearate 303 Lubricant is a general purpose, widely utilized grade of Aluminum Stearate with applications primarily in the paint, polymer and petroleum oil industries.

Employed in paints, Synpro® Aluminum Stearate 303 prevents pigment settling and improves brush-ability. In plastisol dispersions, Type 303 may be used as a thixotropic agent, regulating the flow characteristics of the fluid mixture. Fuel oils and petroleum distillates may be gelled through use of Type 303. In addition to these applications, Type 303 is recommended for use in wire drawing compounds and waterproofing situations.

Synpro® Aluminum Stearate 303 meets the Food and Drug Administration's Code of Federal Regulations under Title 21, Part 181.29; as a stabilizer migrating from food packaging material.
