Product Description
Synpro® Zinc Stearate USP Vegetable Grade Lubricant is a pharmaceutical grade of Zinc Stearate produced from high quality, certified food grade, vegetable-derived stearic acid. It is a fine, white powder specifically developed for use as an excipient in pharmaceutical formulations and in cosmetic applications.
Synpro® Zinc Stearate USP Vegetable Grade is certified to meet or exceed all requirements as listed in the United States Pharmacopoeia.
Synpro® Zinc Stearate USP Vegetable Grade is excellent for use as an internal mold release and lubricant in tableting operations. It serves as an anti-caking agent in applications in which a free flowing final product is desired, such as aerosol and cosmetic powders. Synpro® Zinc Stearate USP Vegetable Grade can also be used as an emulsion stabilizer in cosmetic emulsions and as a bulking agent to increase volume in applied cosmetics.
