Lubricant Product Profile
Product Description
Synpro® Calcium-Zinc Stearate 1580 Lubricant has been specially formulated as a unique alternative to Calcium and Zinc Stearates for the fiberglass reinforced plastics industry.
Synpro® Calcium-Zinc Stearate 1580 has a unique melt point range of 100 to 110 degrees Celsius, which is lower than either Calcium Stearate (with a melt of 155 degrees) or Zinc Stearate (with a melt of 120 degrees). This can lead to improved surface characteristics in FRP parts and provide lower energy output.
