Product Description
Petrac® 480 WAX Lubricant is recommended for use in rigid PVC compounds to control external lubrication and fusion. Petrac® 480 WAX is formulated for use in PVC pipe and therefore uses the typical ratio of paraffin wax, Calcium Stearate and oxidized polyethylene wax. The typical use level for Petrac® 480 WAX is 2.0-2.2 phr.
Petrac® 480 WAX is listed on the Plastic Pipe Institute's generic range formulation and also is approved under NSF International's Standard 14.
