Product Description
Therm-Chek® 840 Stabilizer is recommended for rigid PVC extrusion and injection molding applications, including siding, profile, sheet, molded fittings and bottles.
Therm-Chek® 840 is also recommended for flexible PVC formulations because of its excellent compatibility with all types of PVC copolymers and resin modifiers, as well as with both phthalate and phosphate plasticizers. The combination of Therm-Chek® 840 with epoxy compounds shows synergistic heat stability.
Processability of Therm-Chek® 840 is outstanding, with no adverse effect on fusion characteristics. It is non-sulfur staining and non-lubricating. This product will cross stain during compounding in the presence of Lead, Cadmium, or other metals that form sulfides.
