ARCHI-BODY

 “The architecture that we think of as poetry should be called harmony, like the beautiful face of a woman.”

This quotation by Carlo Scarpa provides the perfect link between the theme of HARMONY explored in Moods 2007 and ARCHI-BODY, the leitmotif of MOODS 2008, which has a strong communicative and emotional impact.

The theme draws inspiration from two very different worlds which contribute to defining the spirit of our times: ARCHITECTURE and the BODY.

ARCHITECTURE is an essential element in a world undergoing rapid urbanization.

The BODY is the focus of attention, constantly in search of well-being, health, beauty and complex sensorial experiences. And it has always been used as an architectural element and taken as a model for materials and objects.
