Following the success of the layout used at CEVISAMA 2003, Ferro has chosen once again, to propose large settings and panels to highlight its latest range of products for the decoration of ceramic tiles. These products have been developed to be compatible with the most recent advances in application techniques, and after careful research into ceramic fashion trends as shown in Ferro's publication Moods 2005.
Large tile panels that propose:
- large size tiles produced using the most innovative of pressing techniques, and with the application of Granitoglass, in both granule and atomized powder form, which was developed specifically for porcelain tiles (through-body or double-feeding applications);
- scintillating tiles that have been decorated with the KERAjet ink-jet printing system using Ferro's specific inks and glazes;
- tiles with elegant and 'natural' effects are in increasing demand, and thanks to applications of Superhard glaze these products become ideal for installation in public areas;
- panels decorated with Stardust crushed frits (a range of 16 colors). This product is suitable for dry application and means that an infinite range of colors and effects can be created, including stone-like natural effects;
- Lustres and Metallics for the creation of extremely elegant tiles.
With regard to colors, new third-firing products will be exhibited: strong brilliantly colored glass that respond to the latest "high visibility" trends already seen in design, art and fashion. Glossy surfaces with bright crystal effects.
