Ferro Thailand and Ferro Cerdec Thailand showcased a complete range of ceramic tile products at the 13th Ceramic Industry Club of ASEAN (CICA) Conference in Bangkok, Thailand April 8-10. Throughout the two-day event, research institutes and other exhibitors hosted conferences and workshops on current ceramic technology. Ferro’s booth, located in the center of the pavilion, drew the most visitors at CICA.

Ferro’s Maurizio Cavedoni, WW Central Lab Coordinator, gave a presentation on color and decorating through dry technology as it relates to fashion and trends.

Cavedoni’s short historical premise about dry technology decoration introduced a comprehensive overview of the market’s most innovative technologies as they relate to Ferro’s product ranges. He also stressed the importance of combining technical information and fashion trends to support Ferro’s customers in developing successful products for their own target markets.
Cavedoni also detailed Ferro’s dry application lines such as Stardust, Granitoglass and Fast Color, and assessed trends previously predicted through Tile Coating System’s (TCS) Moods publications.
On display in the booth were products from Ferro’s Asian and European plants, including sanitaryware, tableware and glass, as well as precious metals and third firing decorations for tiles and tableware.

The trade show, organized by the Ceramic Industry Club of Thailand (CICT), featured 63 exhibitors subdivided into categories: ceramic semi-finished product manufacturers, control equipment, systems and machinery for tile, sanitaryware, tableware and artistic ware production and specialized editing groups.

Italian machinery suppliers like Sacmi and B&T also attended, along with Chinese color manufacturers, who had a strong presence at the show.
