Azurico Brilliant Blue Resistant Onglaze Colors
Ferro offers Azurico resistant low metal release brilliant blue onglaze colors for porcelain, bone china, and earthenware.

The Azurico onglaze color range offers two blue shades that provide relatively high resistance to acids and alkalis. In laboratory tests and under industrial conditions on various substrates, the Azurico colors show no visible acid attack, but a slight alkali attack.

Azurico colors can be applied in thicker layers, making them especially suitable for screen printing and spray application. Machine lining and banding decoration methods as well as hand painting are also possible with these colors, depending on the design used.
Ferro also supplies a full range of media and covercoats suitable for all standard application methods.
AZURICO ONGLAZE COLOR RANGE ADVANTAGES
- Bright blue transparent appearance after firing with a highly glossy surface
- Good chemical resistance, comparable to our Sunshine colors
- Good mechanical resistance
- Good dishwasher resistance
- No chipping, even in thicker layers
- Work in a wide firing range
- Suitable for fast firing cycles on porcelain and bone china
- All Azurico colors are intermixable with each other in any ratio
HEAVY METAL RELEASE AND HEAVY METAL CONTENT
The colors of the Azurico series are technically free of cadmium. Due to natural contamination of raw material, traces of cadmium are possible.
The Azurico colors are able to fulfill the limits of EN 1388 1-2 and FDA requirements when applied and fired according to Ferro technical instructions.
