Calcium Strontium Phosphosilicate
Ferro offers the Nubirox 300 series of calcium strontium phosphosilicate-based anti-corrosive pigments for use in protective coatings that provide long-term corrosion inhibition of metal surfaces.
The Nubirox 300 series of anti-corrosive pigments uses a combination of non-zinc-based active compounds to improve pigment efficiency. These calcium strontium phosphosilicate corrosion inhibitors are an alternative to zinc-based pigments and deliver excellent performance in many solvent-based and water-based paint systems.
Pigments in the Nubirox 300 series offer corrosion protection of different types of metal substrates and are suitable in systems where zinc-based anti-corrosive pigments are reactive.
The Nubirox 300 series allows for the formulation of anti-corrosive paints that are not classified as environmental hazards.
